The Red Devils star Juan Mata has returned to first-team training in a boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final clash against Granada.
Mata has made just three appearances for Man United this calendar year and was recently given time off after his mother passed away.
However, Mata was spotted back in training today and is expected to be named on the bench for United’s trip to take on La Liga side Granada.
United’s exit from the FA Cup against Leicester City means the Europa League is the club’s only chance of silverware this term.
