Update: Juventus have told Mino Raiola they cannot re-sign Paul Pogba

Manchester United midfielder Pogba rejoined United from Juventus in 2016, four years after departing the Red Devils’ youth academy.

The Frenchman has gone on to feature in 194 matches for United, it has been most recently that Pogba has enjoyed his best patch of form.

Pogba’s long-term future continues to be speculated – mostly due to his agent’s relentless barrage of public comments.

Super-agent Mino Raiola is arguably football’s most controversial agent, the opinion-splitting businessman is known for his ability to seal his stars’ huge money moves.

However, despite his best attempts to pocket yet another agency fee at the expense of United, Stretty News understands Juventus have told Raiola they cannot re-sign Pogba.

It has been confirmed to us by a close source that although talks between Raiola and Juventus’ hierarchy have been ongoing, the Old Lady cannot afford the Frenchman’s huge salary demands.

We understand that Juventus’ hierarchy has recently informed Raiola that, although they’d love to welcome Pogba back, the proposed deal is not realistic and therefore will not be happening.

Our source admitted that because of this, they fully expect Pogba to sign a new deal at United in the near future.
