Manchester United ‘will pay Sporting Lisbon £4.2m if Bruno Fernandes wins PFA Player of the Year Award

Here is the latest news being revealed in Bruno Fernandes deal from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United.

As it’s stated in the deal, Manchester United will have to pay Sporting Lisbon £4.2m if Bruno Fernandes wins PFA Player of the Year as part of clause which saw playmaker move in transfer worth up to £68m.And Bruno is in the run making himself a potential competitor to win such prestigious accolade for himself.

He is simply enjoying a brilliant campaign in United as he has scored 15 goals and 10 assists.

And as being stated on the Times, United pay Sporting Lisbon an additional £4.2m as part of their deal when they initially signed the 26-year-old in January 2020.

Sporting Lisbon had received an extra £8.4m in bonus clauses from United, such is the positive impact Fernandes has had on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

They paid Sporting £4.2m last year after qualifying for the Champions League and an additional £4.2m when he had started 25 games for the club.
