Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Eric Bailly has tested positive for coronavirus after his international duty with Ivory Coast.
The Ivorian missed Man United’s last match on Sunday when they defeated Brighton at Old Trafford as goals from Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood extended their unbeaten run to 10 Premier League matches.

Ole Solskjaer, in his team’s update, disclosed that Bailly is yet to return to England and will not be available for selection for the time being.
Solskjaer was quoted by the club website after the game: “Unfortunately he won’t be with us for a little while,”
“He’s been away with Ivory Coast and he tested positive with Covid and he’s not back in the country yet.”
Bailly has played in 15 matches across all competitions this season, including eight appearances in the Premier League so far.
