Robbie Savage: John Murtough should go all-out to bring Kane to Old Trafford

Football top pundit Robbie Savage actually believes Manchester United seriously should ‘move heaven and earth’ to sign Tottenham Hotspur main striker Harry Kane this summer.

There have been several rumours concerning Spurs striker around the world where big names like Manchester City, Real Madrid and other top 5 club giants have keened to sign the England international.

But the Red Devils are also interested in making a major move for the 27 years old England prospect this summer.

Although United have the likes of Rashford, Anthony Martial and the 34 years old striker ‘Edison Cavani’ but they are not as hot red as Kane who has 16 goals and 13 assists in Premier League so far this season.

Man United are looking for a world-class replacement for Anthony Martial and the Englishman could be the ideal solution.Spurs were knocked out of UEFA Europa League on Thursday night by Dinamo Zagreb in extra time, and this could lead Kane out of Spurs due to the bad experiences he had throughout his stay in Tottenham.

Savage wrote in his column with The Mirror: “Erling Haaland has probably overtaken Kane as first-choice target for Europe’s elite, so he faces a choice.

“He can stick around at Tottenham, break Alan Shearer’s record, cement his place as a Spurs legend and take his chances that a medal or two might come his way.”

“Or if his old boss Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid or Man Utd come calling, does he want to be a winner and have the medals to show for it?

“Man Utd have not won anything for four years, but the way they managed a tricky away leg in the San Siro to beat AC Milan was miles ahead of Tottenham’s disarray in Zagreb.

“I’ve said before that United are a top-class centre-forward away from being truly frightening, so I’ll say it again. If he can’t get Haaland, new director of football John Murtough should go all-out to bring Kane to Old Trafford. Move heaven and earth for him.”

And according to transfermarkt, Harry Kane is ranked number 2 among all players worldwide playing as “Centre-Forward”. With a market value of €120.00m, Harry Kane is ranked number 1 among all players of at Spurs. With a market value of €120.00m, Harry Kane is ranked number 1 among all players of the Premier League.

This might be a difficult task to capture his attention since money is not everything, but it’s also possible to get him signed by Manchester United if they are actually serious with the deal.
